I’ve been seeing kimono’s everywhere this spring/summer and have been completely in love with them! Back when the Lilly Pulitzer for Target fiasco happened, I actually managed to snag the one from that collection and had not worn it yet. Last weekend, I planned a day out at the beach and mini golf with my son and knew it was time to bust my kimono and my chambray shirt out! This was the look that I decided to go with when styling my kimono.
I know I just posted about these pineapple shorts, but seriously – I wear them everywhere! They are ahmazing!!! And how could I not top it off with the pineapple belt?!? And yes, I do realize that I have a serious pineapple problem!
And crazy secret here – the hat and chambray shirt, I saw randomly at Wal Mart while grocery shopping! I’ve been seeing these hats everywhere and really wasn’t going to justify buying one when I probably wouldn’t wear it that often, but seriously for $9 I thought it was worth the gamble!
Also, I’m just in love with these tassel earrings from Baublebar. I wanted to try them for forever, but was worried about how heavy they would be. These did not bother my finicky ears at all!
It was a perfectly breezy day, and the wind seriously felt amazing billowing through my kimono! I think that it also gives just a bit of that old school glamourous vibe as well! I absolutely LOVED styling my kimono and it will definitely be coming out more often!!!
