On the weekends, we play Pokémon Go and oftentimes, this lends itself to exploring and finding hidden gems! This weekend, we found a small, tucked away area called Brasher Park. A slow boat area only, we are going to take Rowan back there for a fun fishing day! It was the perfect day for styling  my Lilly Pulitzer Tusk in Sun scarf!

I don’t really often get to wear my scarves which is a shame! It was cool this weekend and I’ve been dying to bust out my Lilly Pulitzer Tusk in Sun one for a while- other than Dark and Stormy, I think that is my favorite print! My Lilly Pulitzer scarves are one of my favorite ways to brighten up or add a statement to an otherwise more basic outfit. They give an outfit just a little extra “oomph”!

One of my other favorite things are my Ralph Lauren tees. They are so versatile, I think I own one in every color! They are a perfect pairing with Lilly as they have so many different colors, but are basic enough to not overwhelm any of her prints!

And of course, I had to pull out my pink Michael Kors watch and matching duck boots. I am firmly of the opinion that you can never have too much pink! I was definitely anti-duck boots for quite a while and thought they were the most hideous things that I had ever seen. Then, I saw them in pink and they started to grow on me. Now, I love them and wear them every opportunity that I have! Granted, that is not often because it’s Florida and there are typically four days per year that are cool enough for boots!

Until next time,

  1. We get around a lot, too. There are tons of state parks and beaches here in Massachusetts that we love to explore when the weather is nice.

  2. Love the scarf and watch! And love finding fun out of the way spots you didn’t know existed before. Always a fun way to explore your hometown, even if you’ve lived there forever. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I’ve been meaning to explore more local areas to kind of cure my wanderlust. Pokemon Go sounds like a good way to start haha. Love the outfits, the boots are my favorite part!
